Ok, so as you can see from the post that should have published last night (so I fixed it because frankly, it was supposed to PUBLISH last night, not SAVE), LaShawn bought me the crimson & black Nintendo DS Lite I’d been drooling over since she showed it to me on the Sears website. We didn’t find it at Sears though. We found it at Wal-Mart. She got the cobalt & black DS Lite for herself.

She also bought me two games – Animal Crossing Wild World & Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass. She bought herself Animal Crossing Wild World, Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Spore Creatures, and The Legend of Sypro Dawn of the Dragon. We’ve been having fun playing with the DS Lites and just generally bumbling around on them. My biggest problem is, I’ve gotten to a point in Zelda that what the walkthroughs I looked at for assistance and what’s going on in the game are not matching up. So I don’t know if I did something wrong somewhere or what. All I know is I’m frustrated. LOL

Thanks to my very best friend in the whole wide world, I am now the proud owner of a crimson & black Nintendo DS Lite. I’m off to play the games she got me with it – Animal Crossing Wild World & Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass.

Edit: Would you believe, I hit SAVE not PUBLISH? DUH!!!!

Yes, you read that correctly. Around 6:30 this evening, LaShawn and I entered my apartment. We armed ourselves with 2 sets of clippers, a pair of scissors, a pair of kitchen shears, 2 different dog shampoos, a towel, and the dog. At around 8:15-8:30, the dog was completely shaved and bathed – and itching like mad. So the other shampoo came into play and he was bathed a second time. He was just finishing up being itchy when we left. He is shaved, clean smelling, and adorable.

And I’ll have to take a picture of him tomorrow night in his sweater, because let me tell you, that was absolutely adorable as well.

I did a bit of shopping today. Not too much. Well, I started yesterday and then did the rest today. Our local Fashion Bug was having a 50% off sale on a few racks and so I picked up a pair of these pants in khaki for $10.98. I like them and they’re comfortable, which is the biggest thing.

That was yesterday – today I went to Wal-Mart and got a Tony Stewart #20 hood Christmas ornament and a Tony Stewart #20 mini-stocking. I want to get all the #20 Tony Stewart Christmas ornaments this year so I don’t miss them, since this will be the last Christmas I can get them!

After that it was off to Barnes & Noble where I picked up a copy of Karin Slaughter’s “Faithless.” I have “Beyond Reach” from a friend but I wanted to read “Faithless” first.

I also priced some cameras and decided that right now, a camera will just have to wait.

Yeah, that’s me. Whisper. LOL That’s about all I can do, and let me tell you, the few minutes I was on the phones today were not pretty at all. I had one guy who couldn’t understand me, hung up, called back, and got me again. *sigh* So yeah. Not happy.

Yesterday was not a happy day at work at all. Apparently someone in our bay at work smells bad – so they drug us each into the HR office one at a time to remind us that we are required to shower daily, wear clean clothes, use deodorant, etc. First off – we shouldn’t be in THAT close of quarters that we are able to smell one another. Second off – if you think someone smells bad – talk to THAT person. In fact, if YOU think someone smells bad – tell that person yourself instead of going ot the boss and saying “someone here stinks.” Have some damn balls people.

Plus, I turned in my 2 week notice that I’ll be leaving to go to Alorica yesterday. Then today I get a call from Alorica that I missed, which I’ll have to return tomorrow and see what they wanted. I know I’d tried to see if I could get into today’s training class, but frankly, they never called me back about it yesterday and so I figured there wasn’t room. So the call I got at 11:30 this morning (funny, my phone didn’t register a missed call) had better not have been asking why I wasn’t there this morning – because I didn’t know I was supposed to be!

In any case, I’ve got some things to do, so I’m off for the time being. TTYL.
