I hear you on disliking movies that are made from books. The Other Boleyn Girl comes to mind. The books? Amazing. The movie? Not so much. Things were totally changed around, other things were left out. Blah, I just wasn't very happy with it. Ditto for the Showtime series The Tudors. Some things were definitely changed!

I can definitely say that Twilight seemed to closely follow the book with few additions and changes made. But I do agree that Kristen Stewart wasn't the best choice for Bella. Looks-wise, yes. But personality? Eh. She was such a stick in the mud, and was not very good at showing much in the way of emotion!
However, Robert Pattinson? Yummy! I thought he made a great choice. ;)
The lack of passion and intimate connection between Bella and Edward in the movie was quite apparent, and for me really made the movie a disappointment, even though I did enjoy seeing the book come to life.

P.S. I can definitely tell that you're on the phone a lot! You speak very fluidly and smoothly, with definite stops and starts. That's something I need to work on. :(
