Stupid Yahoo!

I listen to LaunchCast radio a lot. There are stations on there that I would like to have access to. However, unless I am a Music Unlimited or LaunchCast Plus member, I can’t. It’s not that much per month, and so I figured why not? Besides, I get a free trial and you can’t beat that, right? So I go to sign up. And it tells me that only people in the U.S. and Canada can sign up. Well, Iowa, last I checked, was in the US. So I email customer care with the problem. Fine. I get a response telling me that I didn’t provide enough information and asking me to tell them what type of credit card (mastercard, visa, discover, etc) I was using, etc. I never even got that far. Yet I’m supposed to tell them every step I took up until I got the error, the EXACT error message, plus a bunch of info including my date of birth, my zip code, my yahoo id (which was given to them in the original email btw), and phone number. I’d already given themall of that except phone number, which they shouldn’t need in the first place, and my date of birth, which is on file with Yahoo! If they really wanted to help me, they’d do me a favor and look up that stuff, or have them be required fields on the form you submit. DUH

Yahoo! really needs to get their act together. They’re losing money doing this because if it isn’t resolved soon, I won’t be subscribing.
