On a Sad Note

On a very sad note that has nothing to do with blogging, web design, or anything else, my BFL’s dad passed away on St. Patrick’s Day. I called BFL’s dad “Dad” for the past 18 years or so, as my own dad passed away 21 years ago. So this past week has been a blur of funeral arrangements, finding extended stay hotels for his sisters, and other blatantly sad things that go along with the death of a loved one.

Ok, so we didn’t have to find the hotels, and they may not have been extended stay hotels, but you get my meaning. We had people coming in from out of town.

The church had a pre-planned fundraiser spaghetti dinner which we partook of, then had the memorial service later in the afternoon. It was a beautiful service and was very much BFL’s dad.
