I was recently asked by Western Governors University to review their online education website. Western Governors University will provide students with an online degree which can be obtained from anywhere they are able to access the internet.

WGU is a fully accredited online education institution, so students need not be worried that their degrees will be turned away by employers. Their accreditation is given at the regional, national, NCATE, and CCNE levels. So students can rest assured they are receiving a quality education.

Founded by 19 US governors, WGU is meant to be a more affordable option for students than conventional schools are. The greater majority of their programs, such as the online IT degree, are set up for flat-rate tuitions, so you pay for the time, not the credits you receive. This is great as most schools have exorbitant fees that they charge for schooling. Even those with more or less limited resources have a better chance at being able to afford their schooling. They are also approved by the US Department of Education, so you can readily obtain financial aid to assist you in paying for your schooling!

All in all, I would have to say that WGU is a great online education resource. They are affordable, they are accredited, and they were founded with the intent of giving more people access to higher education.
