I was reading through some of the small business wishes from Intuit, and noticed that one of them was from a guy who runs a small music studio. Apparently there was a burglary at his studio and all of his expensive equipment was taken. The equipment he was using and was asking for help to replace wasn’t too expensive, but it was pricey enough to make most people pause at the thought of buying it.
I felt bad for the guy. I mean, imagine you run a music studio and someone comes in and steals all your equipment. Sure you can get a first-rate aviom16/o-y1 at Musicians friend, but that doesn’t mean you have the money on hand to do so. And in this case, the guy said his insurance would not cover the loss. That has to be terrible. I can’t imagine having all of the stuff I need to run my business stolen from me, making it impossible for me to feed myself or my family until it is replaced and then to have insurance say it won’t be covered.
