While I AM wishing my readers a Merry Christmas, the punctuation in the title has meaning to it. You see, the mid-west has been experiencing a blizzard the likes of which I honestly have never seen before! This blizzard started on December 23 and only this evening has there been any sort of lull in the snow. We are under blizzard warning until at least 12PM on December 26, if it doesn’t get extended like it has every day since it started.

Here are a few shots of the “wonderful” results of the storm so far:

I admit that one doesn’t show much snow, but I was trying for the snow on the front yard and street, not the skyline, and got a cool shot of the skyline.

My dog having to “bunny hop” in the snow in order to not sink. Unfortunately, Momma sank like a stone up to her knees while taking him outside.

It is currently snowing again – not as heavily but still, it is snowing again. Tomorrow in the daylight I am going to take some better pictures of how buried the car is, how the mailbox is sitting, and other things. Until then, Merry Christmas!
