While I should be grateful in this economy that I even have a job, I have to say, there are a lot of places in my area that are hiring. Frankly, at this point, any of them would be preferable to my current job, so suffice it to say that I am currently job hunting. The stressful nature of being on the phones is starting to take a toll on me and I know that my headaches are most likely caused by the stress of working in that environment. It’s time to take a breather from call center jobs and find me a different type of employment. I am leaning towards applying for jobs at places like Hobby Lobby and Best Buy, where they do/sell things that interest me. Or possibly Hollywood video or Blockbuster, because I do love movies. 
It isn’t that I want to be hopping from job to job, but when the stress level starts to affect my health, it is time to move on to greener pastures. I’ll take a pay cut if it means that I can have a less stressful environment to work in. Because really, that’s what is going to end up counting the most. Being able to live without pain and stress related illnesses. End of story. My job is not worth risking my health.
