Jealousy

There is nothing to remind you, like Joana said, of the fact that you have no money than reading what other people got their mother’s for Mother’s Day. Seriously. I saw quite a few cell phones being gifted, lots of chocolates, lots of movies (usually the sappy kind lol), and even things like Machu Picchu travel.

Now I’m all for giving Mom the best, but come on now. I realize that people on your blog might be curious as to what you got her for Mother’s Day, but really. When you start posting all that expensive stuff, you make the rest of us jealous. LOL It’s a good thing that BFL’s mom doesn’t read blogs or else we’d probably be trying to explain why we didn’t get anything better for her. Nah – she knows we’re broke. )

In any case, BFL’s mom was pleased with the Caramello candy bars BFL got her, as well as the cards she got from both BFL and me. Yes, I gave my BFL’s mom a Mother’s Day card. My own mom is no longer with us, and her mom is like a mom to me. So I got her a card. )
