It’s Over

The dreaded EGD is over, and I’ve posted the experience over at I’m Losing It. My throat is a little sore, and the funny thing is, the more time passes, the more sore my throat gets. I ate a cough drop earlier, so I should be good for a while. The good news is, the doctor did not see anything he felt needed to be biopsied (acid reflux can eventually cause esophageal cancer). The bad news is, they werent’ able to tell me what the doctor found, if anything. They’ll send me a letter to detail the findings, and of course, forward it to my family doctor to pass on to me as well.

But I am glad it is over. It wasn’t bad and if I was told I had to have it done again, at least I’d not be as nervous next time. But I’d rather not have it done again.

The rest of this week consists of running to pay the rent tomorrow before BFL leaves for her vacation, and then taking the bus to work each day and seeing who can give me a ride home each night. Yay.
