Work was unreal today. I mean, seriously, unreal. At 6:30PM we were 142 deep in queue. We had that many callers on the phone. Why? Because word got out today that a new iPhone is being released on June 19th. To be perfectly honest, I could care less if they make a new iPhone or not. I am not one who cares to have a touchscreen anything, so even my Nintendo DS bugs the crap out of me. I mean, I love my DS, just wish it wasn’t touchscreen.

But seriously. It’s just a phone people. Really. It’s just a phone. That’s what I wanted to tell the people who were calling in about it. It’s just a phone. We can’t tell them that, but seriously, I wished we could tonight. I got so sick of hearing “I heard there’s a new iPhone coming out.” Well, if you heard it, then you heard it from Apple. Ask them about it. We don’t even have the hardware/software particulars for the new phone yet. Just that it comes out on June 19th. Then again, we have a three hour training session tomorrow when we get to work, so that’s probably what they’ll be talking about. That stupid new iPhone.

Other than that, work was the same old crap. “My bill is too high, why?” That is the most annoying question of all. You want to know why? Because people do not read their bills before they call in. If they would look at their bills, as in read their bills, they’d actually be able to find out what caused it themselves. My favorite is “what are usage charges?” Well, those are for if you go over your minutes, your text messages, etc. If you use it, and you don’t have a plan for it or you are over your allotment for your plan, you get — usage charges! Not precisely rocket science. LOL I mean, I know these people aren’t that stupid/ignorant/dumb, but I swear, they open a bill, see the total, and can’t read? WTF?
