Hardcore Gaming

I will say right now that I do not fall into the category of the hardcore gamer. I am not so into my games that I will proudly state that I sat for 20 hours straight playing Call of Duty or some other such game online with my friends. I take necessary breaks to eat and use the restroom like normal people.

However, I have actually spoken with some gamers, while at GenCon to be honest, who said that when they play online games, if they expect to be on for a long time – such as during a raid in WoW or other similar games, that they will utilize adult diapers. I see no problems with this if that is what they want to do. They are available and I see no shame in using them if it is wanted or needed. And people can make jokes about needing to use them if they want to. :)

I can still remember when my mom was still alive but on hospice. They had her wearing the adult diapers and she used to tease me all the time that as much time as I spent on the computer, she thought I could use them more than she could. :) She wasn’t making fun of me and I’m not making fun of her, that was just the way she was. She would make jokes about her plight regardless of what other people said about it.

I didn’t play as many games then as I do now, but then I was busier with Mom back then. Back then my gaming was pretty much limited to Yahoo! Games & Pogo games. Mom bought me a Club Pogo subscription so I could play Tri-Peaks Solitaire when Yahoo! Games’ chat rooms got to be too smutty and spammy for my tastes. I still won’t go to Yahoo! Games, but I will on occasion hit MSN games, and my friend Annie gifts me with a Club Pogo subscription every year because she knows I can’t afford it, she can, and she wants to. Besides, it gives her someone to play games with. :D
