Do I Look Like An Expert?
That is what I just asked a friend of mine. We’ve been talking on an IM and she wanted the URL to my blog(s). So I gave them to her. After reading over them for several minutes, she says to me “good, I need some advice.” I shrugged to myself and said “ok, shoot.” The next thing I read was “What is the best herbal diet pill?”
It took me a few minutes to regain my composure before answering her. I asked her why she would ask me that, and she said because I talk about diet pills on my blogs quite a bit and because I am fat and I would know. Excuse me? I mention diet pills on my blogs and I’m fat, so this makes me an expert in what the best diet pill or best herbal diet pill would be? I wonder, if I were skinny if she would have asked me that question. Probably not.
But it just goes to show, if someone sees something on your blog enough times, they’ll ask you questions about it. LOL By the way, my answer finally was that it doesn’t matter what I think the best pill would be, but what would work for her and not cause her any problems. Just because a pill worked for me (I have NOT taken any, but just saying) does NOT mean it would work for her. Different body chemistry you know.
