Ever have one of those days when you’d swear that everyone you came across at work needed to be put into some sort of drug treatment center? Almost as if they’ve all gone absolutely batty? Today was that day. I had calls from angry customers because the Punk channel is AC/DC Radio for the next couple months. I actually had one guy tell me that I need to move the channel right away to another station. I put him on mute and then said “Sure sir, I’ll wave my magic wand and it’ll move to a different station right now.” My boss laughed at me for that one.
Then I dealt with a car dealer who I swear needed an alcohol rehab or something because he was trippin’. He was going on and on and on about how the Travel Link didn’t work in this car. Because you only get the TRAFFIC part of Travel Link while on the free service and the rest of it you can have when you start paying for it. Yeesh.
And last but not least, how about the lady who wanted me to give her six months free service because she’s had stock in our company since 12/05 and when she bought it, they bought 1200 shares at $8.25, but our stock closed at $0.88 today and so she couldn’t justify paying $12.95 a month for the service when our stock closed at $0.88 a share. Ok lady, and remember YOU were the one who CHOSE to GAMBLE with YOUR MONEY by playing the stock market. Don’t blame US for YOUR stupidity. Thank you.
