One of the funny things that I’ve noticed is that if you Google my name, Charity, you get everything and anything related to charitable groups. I guess that’s one of the fun things about being named Charity. One of the ones I found was The Bonita Trust.

In looking over the website, I discovered that the Bonita Trust was founded by California native Ruth Parasol. She founded it under the laws of Gibraltar in 2004, to provide benefits to the people there. Some of the things this trust was founded to do was provide endowments to educational, community, cultural, and health projects.

Ruth Parasol is also the founder of PartyGaming Plc. which is the parent company for PartyPoker.com. She’s also co-chairs another non-profit organization with her husband called the DeLeon Family Care Project. She is a remarkable woman – what with having two different charities that she chairs and the company she runs as well. And to be willing to found a charity and to chair a second charity, in my opinion, makes her a wonderful person.

After reading the site in question, I decided that with a little more digging, this could very well be a charity to which I might be willing to go ahead and donate to.
