We had a blizzard warning for yesterday and today in the area of the country I live in. Yes, a blizzard warning in April. It’s not uncommon to have that type of thing around here every few years, even in April. Everyone kept checking the weather either online or on their cell phones all evening last night. For a while where I work, the weather got pretty nasty, lots of rain mixed with snow and all of it blowing all over the place. People kept complaining that it was going to be hard to get home and one guy even left early to make sure he got home all right.

My boss said that if the weather got too bad for anyone to drive home, we’d all form a chain and walk over to one of the hotels near Alorica. She said she’d pay for everyone’s rooms and we’d all just camp out. That would have been alright, considering that would have meant that everyone but her would have gotten a free hotel night. The only problem is, we didn’t have to work today, so we’d have been stuck in a hotel until we could leave with no fresh clothes and nothing to do. Bleh. Not cool. :/

But we got home, so that’s all good. My friends had ordered Papa John’s pizza for supper, but ate it all before I got home! So I ended up heating up a leftover chili burger from a local place. It was good, but I’d rather have had the pizza! LOL
