Again I Say
Stupid Yahoo! Ok, come on now. I replied to Yahoo’s request for more info regarding the problem with the LaunchCast Plus sign up. So what did they reply with? Yet another email asking me to provide more information, including things that had already been given to them. This time though, they also wanted a screen shot of the error page, the URL of the error page, the precise date & time (I guess pointing out that this has been going on steadily for THREE DAYS didn’t do any good) I received the error, the precise steps I took that got me the error, and of all things, they wanted the type of credit card, the last 4 digits, and the expiration date. All well and good except I don’t know what they plan to match it to, since I never got that far into the sign up process, and I told them that! So I had to go do the whole thing over again so I could take a screenshot and give them an exact date and time. They said the exact date and time was most important. After I tell you that I’ve gotten this error everytime I try to sign up, no matter WHAT Yahoo! ID I’m using, for the past THREE DAYS, you had damn well better not tell me that this is a temporary glitch, because you’re going to hear a big scream of BS from me, because I know better!
The fact that I currently can’t talk, I got sent home from work because of it, and that they’re saying I should go to the doctor, does not make me happy either. I hate to tell you, I’ve been through this enough times to know, they’ll just say it’s a cold and tell me they can’t do anything about it. Duh. I’ve been down this road before, I’ve sat in the ER, Urgent Care, what have you, and I’ve been told the same thing every time. It’s a cold. There’s nothing we can do. *rolls eyes* Oh well. If I wake up without a voice again tomorrow, I’ll walk my happy butt to the ER, let them mess with me, give me a note, and go hand it off to my TM. Whatever. LOL
