LaShawn’s mom finally decided on a Christmas present for me, and it was one that truthfully was much needed. No, she didn’t go out and buy me a paella pan even though I would kind of like to have one. She bought me groceries. She gave me a $100 limit (hey, I’m single, I’ve done 2 weeks on $40 before) and we hit up a store that had a lot of sales. I got the makings for chili, the makings for 2 pots of spaghetti, six Hamburger Helpers, and 10 lbs of hamburger. Of course, I also got a bag of breaded chicken patties, a couple packs of hot dogs, some vegetables, milk, eggs, bread, lunchmeat, cheese, and everyone’s favorite – toilet paper! LOL I even got some cereal and Little Debbie snacks.

So now I have food at my apartment. I just have to put ME at my apartment. There were other items on my grocery list that I said I’d get on my own later, but frankly, I also have 5 pasta salad kits at home that I can make up as well, plus 2 brand new packs of ramen noodles that haven’t even been opened, each containing 12 packets of noodles. So I have food.
