What is it with these people and leaving spam comments? Do you honestly think that I’m going to just let it pass by unnoticed? Why do you bother? It’s not like they’ll show up or anything. I mean, please. What is wrong with you?

I get spam comments in my Akismet all the time on all of my blogs. Mostly on Gothic Peach, but I get a few on this one and Got Wicca as well. It’s just annoying.

Another annoying thing…no internet access at home for a while. Now THAT is annoying!

I’m trying to get started with finding my family tree. I have a few people, like my mom and dad, their mothers and fathers, and even a set of great-grandparents. I just have to find more information on some of the members of the family, since frankly, I don’t know anything. I was able, however, to find an obituary for my grandmother at the library, so I have her parents’ names and the place she was born. Yay! Now to find more information. I might just turn this particular domain into a genealogy site since it has my name on it already. Well, my first and middle names anyways.

WordPress 2.5 Release Candidate 1 is going to take some getting used to! They REALLY changed the user interface and it’s going to take some really getting used to. So far, I like it. I really do. It’s really nice to look at, and not too hard to find anything. The write page is really different, but not in a bad way. I definitely can get used to this.

Well, I’m back to business casual dress tomorrow, and frankly, I don’t want to. It’s not that it’s that much of an issue, it’s just that it’s kind of icky weather, and if it’s wet….well, my dress pants have the bottoms of the legs in the water. LOL

I have a very limited “professional” wardrobe and really need to look into getting more clothes to that end, since it seems I’ll never have dress down again. I hate dressing up, but oh well. If that’s what I have to do to keep my job, then I’ll do it.

I just wish dress shoes weren’t so uncomfy!

Well, at least where I live, it’s officially St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone can dress down tomorrow at work (wear casual clothes) if they have green on. So I have to dig out my green t-shirt and I’ll probably wear my glow-in-the-dark green eyeshadow to work just for kicks. Oh well, at least I won’t have to be completely dressed up. I hate being dressed up. It’s so uncomfortable.

I understand the concept of “if you look professional, you’ll act professional” but still. I’d rather be comfortable than professional. I can be professional even when I’m dressed in jeans and a t-shirt.

Ok, now I love to take my showers. Except when my neighbors decide that they don’t need to have ANY courtesy whatsoever, and start using the cold water when I’m in the shower. Now I know they can hear MY water running and I can hear THEIR water running as well. We have the SAME water heater and I’ll be darned if every time I get in that shower, they don’t either use the hot or the cold water so I end up having to stand away from the spray until the temp is correct again. You’d think that they’d figure out that if they run water, I lose that particular stream until they turn it off, but apparently not. UGH.
